How do humidifiers and aroma diffusers work and what’s the difference?

Generally speaking, the difference between Aroma diffuser and Humidifier:

1. Size- aroma diffuser is bigger than humidifier;
2. Adapter- aroma diffuser works with adapter, while humidifier works with USB;
3. Function- you can add essential oil into aroma diffuser, but can’t put too much oil into humidifier;
4. Work method- aroma diffuser mist comes out through vibrate the atomizer, then the fan will blow mist out; Humidifer mist goes by cotton stick to soak water, then the ultrasonic atomizer change to mist  
5. Humidifier are all equiped with cotton stick, while aroma diffuser are without.

The working function is same by Aroma diffuser and Humidifers. The aroma diffusers and humidifiers both work by ultrasonic principle. The core component is ultrasonic atomizer. Through high-frequency oscillations, the essential oils and water molecules in the water are dissolved into nano scale cold mist. Then it’s emitted into the air, humidifying the air and emitting fragrance at the same time. There is fan underneath of the aroma diffuser. The mist is blown out throught the fan into air.      

The main difference is: 1: Because the aromatherapy essential oils have a certain degree of corrosiveness, so the interior of the aromatherapy device should use anti-corrosion materials, such as PP plastic and copper atomization ring, and the materials used in the humidifier are ordinary materials, not resistant to essential oil corrosion; 2: And the surface tension of the essential oil solution and pure water is very different, which is different for the frequency requirements of the atomization energy, and the effect of the humidifier that can atomize the water to atomize the essential oil solution is not good.
